Overview: Tap to Pay on Android lets you accept secure contactless payments using just your Android phone — no extra hardware needed.

Ensure your Android device is compatible (NFC-enabled and running Android 14 or later).

Download your Pebl app from the Google Play Store.

Log in or sign up using your mobile number.

The first time you take a payment, your app guides you through the one-time Tap to Pay setup automatically — see <a href="https://help.peblpay.com.au/en/articles/11159933-registering-your-phone-for-tap-to-pay-on-android">Registering Your Phone for Tap to Pay on Android</a>.

Enable NFC and Bluetooth in your device settings.

Open your Pebl app, select Tap to Pay, and you're ready to accept payments.

3. Log in or sign up using your mobile number.
4. Make sure your Pebl profile is complete.

6. Enable NFC and Bluetooth in your device settings.
7. Open your Pebl app, select Tap to Pay, and you're ready to accept payments.

Does my device have NFC? To check: open Settings, search NFC, and if an NFC option appears, your phone supports it — tap to turn it on.

What cards or devices can customers use? NFC-enabled credit/debit cards, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, or Apple Pay.

Is Tap to Pay on Android secure? Yes — all payment data is encrypted and processed securely via Pebl and your payment provider.
