Overview
You don't need to register your iPhone manually. The first time you take a Tap to Pay payment, your Pebl app guides you through Apple's one-time Tap to Pay setup automatically.
How it works
Open your Pebl app and start a Tap to Pay payment for the first time.
Follow the on-screen prompts to complete Apple's one-time Tap to Pay setup.
Once that's done, Tap to Pay is ready to use.
Didn't see the setup screens? Just log out of your Pebl app and back in — the setup prompts will appear again.
💡 Pro Tip
You'll be able to perform a test transaction with a real card at the end of setup. This won't cost you anything!
FAQs and Troubleshooting Tips:
The Tap to Pay setup isn't appearing.
Make sure your iPhone is eligible — an iPhone XS or later, running an iOS version released within the last year (we recommend the latest iOS — see currently supported iOS versions). Then log out of your Pebl app and back in to trigger setup again.
How do I check what iPhone I have?
Go to Settings > General > About and check "Model Name". Apple's guide here.
