If you don't have your own ABN, there are two ways to use Pebl today.
Why Pebl needs an ABN
Like getting an EFTPOS terminal, we're required to verify the organisation taking payments. That's why every account needs an ABN and an ID check by someone responsible for that organisation.
Option 1: the charity adds you
The charity you're raising money for signs up to Pebl (or already uses it). It adds you as a location for your event, or as a team member. You take payments in Pebl Collect and the money goes straight to the charity.
Option 2: use the charity's ABN
If the charity is happy for you to run the account, get its written approval to use its ABN, then sign up at web.peblpay.com.au. Payouts go to the charity's bank account.
What's next
We're working on a way for community fundraisers without an ABN to use Pebl.
Not sure which option suits you? Chat to us and tell us about your fundraiser.
