Unlike card payments, PayID refunds cannot be processed automatically through Pebl. Due to privacy protections, Pebl does not have access to your customer’s bank details. Any PayID refund must be arranged manually between you and the customer.

Confirm the original payment was made via PayID.
You can do this by checking the payment method on the transaction info screen.Let the customer know that PayID refunds must be processed manually.
You cannot issue a refund through the Pebl app for PayID payments.Request the customer’s BSB and Account Number.
This will allow you to send them the refund from your business bank account.Use your online banking portal to send the refund.
